For resurrect phase, doesn't Alexander have blind spell? I think I placed it in one of the three starting towns. Its quite long time since I did play the map so I don't recall all details perfectly, other than many battles requiring tons of reload until finding the weakness of AI. With blind/clone I was able to blind the rust and clone aa's so I lost all but AAs, cloned/rez more.
